KR-CAP은 선박의 상태를 올바르게 평가할 수 있는 경험이 많은 선박검사원 및 조선기술자에 의해 수행됩니다.
검사범위는 선주와 협의하여 결정하며, KR-CAP을 효율적으로 수행하기 위하여 다음 사항이 고려됩니다.

선박의 기록검토 및 검사실시, 구조부재의 두께 계측, 계측결과에 따른 강도계산, 설비 및 시스템의 기능 테스트
