Asset Integrity Management
Asset Integrity Management (AIM)is critical to ensure optimum maintenance and operational efficiency, which is becoming more and more complicated in the oil, gas and chemical industries. Customers are increasingly needing to find new and effective ways to manage their assets efficiently while optimizing the asset’s lifecycle. As a result, AIM is challenged to maximize cost-efficiency while mitigating safety and environmental risks and meeting stringent requirements.Using the AIM system, the optimum levels of asset management can be calculated as shown in the following diagram, which considers the asset operating costs (OPEX) and uses the risk-based inspection system.
