Korean Register’s Test and Certification Center(TCC) is a R&D institute of Green-Ship specialized for developing the related core technologies and performing test & evaluation of ship equipment in the ship-building and shipping industry. TCC has a great diversity of Green-Ship related test facilities and applied technologies.

• Dynamometer : 460kW class AC type / 2.1MW class hydraulic type
• Measurement and analysis equipment: measurement of cylinder pressure, exhaust gas analyzer, particulate matter sampler, fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FTIR), measurement of particulate matter concentration(smoke meter, opacimeter, soot sensor, diluter and particle counter, weighing chamber and analytical balance etc.)

Koran Register's Test and Certification Center(TCC) has the most experienced and skilled researchers in the field of shipping and marine industry.
TCC provides exceptional technical services based on the international standards such as KS, ISO, IP ASTM, and others. In recent years, concern has been raised on the damage to the engines caused by poor quality fuel and the Sulfur Emission Control Area (SECA) regulation in force from January 1, 2015 raised more concern about the quality of ship fuel oil. In order to effectively comply with IMO's environmental regulations and to lead the field of green-ship standardization process, Korean Register's Green-Ship Test and Certification Center (TCC) was established. Through the work of Green-Ship TCC, Korea's role in the field of shipping and marine installation and equipments will become more important. Korean Register's Green-Ship TCC will provide test and certification services in accordance with international standards, undertake marine research and development, and provide technical assistance to the industry. Through these activities, Korean Register will build trust with customers and will contribute in ensuring customers' safety and protecting assets.
