Continuous quality improvement through robust external audits
In addition to regular internal audits, KR is frequently and strictly audited by flag governments in over 70 countries, including the Republic of Korea, which recognizes KR as a recognized organization.
Until 2009, KR had received the QSCS (Quality System Certification Scheme) audits annually from IACS (International Association of Classification Societies. And now KR is audited every year by ACB (Accredited Certification Body), the international organization for certification and accreditation, based on the recommendation by EU Commission.
Through the numerous robust audits by domestic and overseas governments and IACS, KR has been implementing continuous improvement for service quality in management and technology areas.
