EEOI(Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator)

The Marine Environment Protection Committee, at its fifty-ninth session, suggested EEOI which is expressed in CO2 emissions per transport work for voluntary use in order to assist a shipping company in managing the environmental performance of its ships.

IMO recommends to use EEOI for operating ships to manage energy efficiency and you can get benefits as below.
1) Convenient and accurate energy efficiency management.
2) Additional points on the Environmental Ship Index of IAPH.
3) Benefit from Panamanian flag authority through ‘Eco-Ship discount’ program.
