Please be informed that 2017 Ports state Control(PSC) Annual Report of Korean Register of Shipping(KR) has been released, which marks 16th report published since 2000. 

In 2017, KR continued to dedicate itself to proving preventive safety measures, in coordination with the regional PSC MoUs, to reduce any potential detainable deficiencies of KR-classed ships.

We are pleased to note that this Society sustained its high performance level in Tokyo MoU and Paris MoU over the consecutive years and, furthermore, no KR class-related detention was recorded in the United States Coast Guard (USCG) since 2002.

We hope this annual report will provide you with in-depth and meaningful PSC information, and extend our appreciation for your supports and assistance for KR.
