From 2015, vessels navigating the ECA area should use fuel oil with a sulphur content of less than 0.1% and should switch completely to a fuel oil with a sulphur content of less than 0.1% before entering ECA area.

In this regard, KR has developted a program(FOCO, Fuel Oil Changeover Calculator) to calculate the time required for the conversion of low sulphur fuel oil.
