I am B.S.Park, the Chairman & CEO of KR, also known as Korea Register.

KR started history in 1960 with just 2 surveyors and after 50 years or so, with great dignity, has become an international Classification Society such that the global maritime industry evaluated this rapid progress as a miracle.

We have been supporting the remarkable growth of the maritime industry in South Korea, proud of being the world's top class in shippingㆍmaritime and equipment etc, by taking responsibility of safety at sea and providing the very best quality service for our customers.

KR is filled with professionals with advanced technical skills who provide the best service to worldwide customers on the bases of major domestic and foreign marine and shipping and delegated with the authority for government surveys towards world's leading maritime countries and endeavoring day and night for ship's safety.

such as KR-CON, Sea Trust-CSR, the world's first Smartphone application, Smart Fleet, that consists of information on vessels etc.
