Technical Seminar for superintendents and surveyors in Ulsan
The Ulsan Office held a technical seminar for clients including superintendents and
surveyors of KSS Line Ltd., SK Shipping and S-Oil.
The seminar covered convention and survey requirements related to load lines. It created a valuable opportunity to gain customer satisfaction and trust and created a dialogue between superintendents and site surveyors. Superintendents were able to gain more insight into topics such as load lines, for which they were grateful,
particularly as this is a required part of site surveys.
On this occasion, KR created a valuable forum to build better ties with superintendents
in shipyards and we will continue to deliver technical services to our clients.

Briefing on Key Plan review results
The KR Liquid Cargo Ship Team completed the first approval and held a briefing of Key
Plan review results for an international ferry (31,000 dwt) operating between Korea and China. The craft will be operated by Weidong Ferry and a newbuild order was placed with Hyundai Mipo Dockyard.
KR joined the early stage of the design process and collaborated with the shipyard to deliver technical services relating to the complicated convention requirements which are applied to international seagoing passenger ships. KR also plans to hold a further
briefing on the approval review results for the major convention plans.
