[Statutory System Certification Team] 1st Certification Research Meeting 2021
Statutory System Certification Team held the 1st ISM/ISP/MLC Certification Research Meeting to provide information regarding conventions, legislations and regulations of ISM/ISPS/MLC certification services for shipping companies.

[China Headquarters] Technical Seminar for shipowners in Shanhai
On March 23, China Headquarters held a technical seminar on IMO GHG regulation for shipowners in Shanghai.
Participants showed great interest in the IMO GHG regulation and KR GEARs program, and they inquired a range of questions regarding the issue.
This seminar was held with the sponsorship of the Shanghai Shipowners Association and included 4 sessions; greetings from the Regional Manager of China Headquarters, introducing IMO GHG regulation and KR GEARs program by LEE Kwang-il(Senior Surveyor) from Technical Support Team, presentation on ammonia as an alternative fuel by LI Zhenghao from Technical Support Team and Q&A, etc.
About 50 people from 30 shipowners and related organizations, including SITC, attended. Participants showed great interest in the IMO GHG regulation and KR GEARs program, and many inquiries continued. China Headquarters will continue to hold seminars as Covid-19 is stable in China.
