[1] (2021-07) PSC Trend in Novorossiysk, Russia

 
Noting that the number of vessels detained in Novorssiysk, Russia is recently increasing due to deficiencies related to the following installations and/or equipment, you are kindly requested to thoroughly prepare for PSC inspectinos in these regions. We do highlight, however, that it needs an overall check on critical PSC items, not limited to the following areas.
 
  1. Fire Safey
   - Bridge fire detention system fault alarm
   - Ventilator cover heavily corroded
   - Main engine heavily leakage (Collected drum)
   - Power off bridge fire detention system (Switch off)
   - Failure of remote closure for E/R fire damper
 
  2. Emergency system
   - Engine room alarm and log printer unreadable
   - Emergency fire pump not ready to use
   - Damaged of emergency light for outside of accommodation
   - GMDSS Battery empty
   - Public address partly operation failure
   - Expired battery of Two-way VHF apparatus
 
  3. Life-saving appliance
   - Stb'dside lifeboat engine failure and reflective tape defective
   - Rescueboat cooling pump defective
   - Lifeboat defective (Light defective, reflective tape defective, front window crack,
     locking condition of front hatch cover defective, engine start defective)
 
  4. MLC(Working condition)
   - Mooring Roller defective
   - Mooring Roller cover holed, corroded
   - Pilot ladder defective (Olded rope)
