the Convention

It is expected that the relevant items will have been checked by PSCO during PSC inspection in Paris MoU area on or after 31st December 2020, therefore you are requested to check beforehand. The attached Technical Information(2020-ETC-04) which was issued by KR on 10th June 2020 would be help for you to prepare against the PSC inspection.
[3](2020-78) PSC Trends - 4th quarter 2020
Please be informed that the PSC Trends in the 4th quarter of 2020 has been released, and take preventive measures as deemed appropriate in reference to the report as an initial guidance to avoid PSC detentions and/or deficiencies.
[4](2021-02) Consecutive PSC detention occured related to MLC items
Although ship's operators were provided with a lot of information and cautions, consecutive PSC detentions related to MLC occured this year following last year due to seafarers' long-term onboard service and expiry of their SEAs. PSCO is checking all evidence of efforts to repatriate the crew, written consent from the crew, repatriation plans, and the documents approved by the flag State, and special attention should be paid to them as they could be detained if the relevant documents are not confirmed.
