[4] (2020-16) Notice regarding careful PSC preparationfor Antwerpen, Belgium
A cargo ship was recently detained at the port of Antwerpen, Belgium, unable toleave the port for about three weeks.
During this time a total of three PSC inspections were carried out in great detail on board the ship,the inspections were wide ranging, and not limited to specific areas.
As a result, shipping companies managing ships trading in this region are requested to thoroughly prepare for PSC inspections, to prevent unnecessary delays.

[5] (2020-17) Prohibition of the carriage of non-compliant fuel
A press release regarding the prohibited carriage of non-complaint fuel has been issued by the Paris & Tokyo MoU.
It reminds ship operators that the carriage of non-compliant fuel will be banned from 1 March 2020. For more details please check attached the press release.

KR has held an occasional meeting with Kobe(Japan) PSC Authority. Various problems during PSC inspections were identified, so please pre-check the items below in order to avoid any PSC issues.
1) Mooring rope maintenance
2) Errors oncertificates (Typos, missing information etc)
3) Record of BWRB(Ballast Water Record Book) forvessels which are in operating within
