KR has presented Hyundai Mipo Dockyard(HMD) with an ISO 3834 certificate for its welding quality management systems.
HMDmet the criteria of ISO 3834-2 which is the highest quality level in the ISO 3834 series for welding quality management systems, demonstrating its compliance through its testing and inspection of works and production processes. Thecertification enhances the competitiveness of local shipbuilders welding quality.
The ISO 3834 is an international standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to improve the welding quality of metal materials. Many overseas customers including those in Europe, require a welding supplier to be a holder of the ISO 3834, to specifically guarantee the quality of any welding.
By virtue of this certification, the company’s exceptional welding quality and welding quality control techniques have been recognized around the world and give the customer greater assurance.
