Subject : 9.126 Notice for Amendments to the KR Technical Rules (Guidance, Part 1 including Annex 1-18)
Application : 16 Oct. 2019 (Date of which application for survey is submitted)
1. Please be informed that the partial amendments have been made to the “Guidance Relating to the Rules for the Classification of Steel Ships, Pt.1 including Annex 1-18, as below and you are kindly requested to apply these amendments on the relevant works.

1. Regarding a prompt and thorough repair, reflected specific drawings/photos of the areas to be considered.
2. Furthermore, please be informed that these amendments will be included in 2020 edition for Rule and Guidance on KR Classification Technical Rules which will be published in the first half of 2020.
3. For reference, these amendments have been made at the request of the Maritime Industry and Technology Division, Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.
