Please be informed that partial amendments have been made to the “Rule and Guidance Relating to the Rules for the Classification of Steel Ships, Pt.1,” as below and you are kindly requested to apply the amendments on the relevant works.

2) To the keeping of certificates and survey reports
3) To specify the content of dual classed vessels
4) To add “Barge (ship type)” to the Extended Dry-Docking Interval System (EDD) etc.

Furthermore, please be informed that the amendments will be included in the 2020 edition of Rules and Guidance on KR Classification Technical Rules which will be published in the first half of 2020.
