[PSC] Notification of PSC detention (BILBAO, SPAIN)
Please be informed of the following notification to avoid similar PSC detentions.

o Causes of Detention
- Captain keeping bridge watches not holding GMDSS general operator certificate
- No SMC original certificate on board
- Water mist system with no evidence of maintenance according MSC1/CIRC1432
- Not able to perform a DSC call with the MF/HF equipment
- Not possible to perform a DSC call with one of the VHF sets
- Oil filtering needs to be repaired
- SMS implementation is defective
