● PSC Information (Hong Kong) - Notice of PSC Detention due to MARPOL Violation
A Hong Kong registered ship discharged 6㎥ of bilge water overboard without passing it through the oily water separator, which led to a PSC detention recently.
This serious violation of the illegal discharge rules, results in a PSC detention with a fine of up to HKD 500,000 issued under the relevant regulations, details are given in the attachment.
