KR has launched a new Port State Control (PSC) Hub to provide a range of PSC information to KR's ship owning and operating customers through the KR e-Fleet V2 Program.
KR e-Fleet V1 only offered a simple function linking the information provided on the KR homepage such as detention details and PSC Annual Report. To help prevent future PSC detentions, the KR E-fleet V2 program has been significantly improved in various ways as follows;
1) PSC Information by Region
The PSC information of countries where PSC detention is frequent is provided in the form of a checklist by region, so that the customers can refer to it, when preparing for a PSC inspection.
The PSC information on Paris MoU, USCG, and Tokyo MoU (China, Japan, Australia) countries can be downloaded and used in conjunction with the PSC checklist for Owners provided by KR.
2) PSC Guidance Book
Updated information in the PSC Guidance Book which has been developed by KR and the Korean Shipowners' Association, is always provided to customers for their information.
3) PSC Checklist for Owner
A PSC checklist reflecting the most recent PSC trends is provided for owners.
4) PSC Deficiency Data
A program that lists the deficiencies of the ship by port, country and period can now be searched and downloaded in an excel file.
KR will continue to improve the system so that it becomes an important hub for providing PSC information and materials through KR e-Fleet, which is easily accessible to customers, thereby helping to prevent PSC detentions in the future.
Any of KR’s customers whose ships are registered with KR, can use KR e-Fleet free of charge.
