[Geoje Office] Technical seminar for KLC (Korea Line Corporation)
The KR Geoje office held a technical seminar for Korea Line Corporation.
The seminar focused on the LNG carrier newbuilding projects which will be fitted with KC-1.
KR is the classification society for this vessel. The discussion focused on the New IGC code (hull part), the 7.5K LNGC Key Plan-Technical review, and the Design concept of KC-1 CCS.
[KR China] Technical seminar for Chinese clients in Wuxi and Jiangyin area, China
KR held a technical seminar for its Chinese clients in the Wuxi and Jiangyin area, Jiangsu province, China.
This seminar introduced KR’S MED (Marine Equipment Directive) certification services to its Chinese clients. The MED certification for LSA (Life Saving Appliance) equipment was discussed at length.
[Ulsan Office] Technical seminar for the quality managers of Hyundai Heavy
Industries
The KR Ulsan office held a technical seminar for the quality managers at Hyundai Heavy Industries.
The seminar offered an excellent opportunity to broaden the attendees understanding of KR rules and how to apply them, by explaining in detail the recent updates and amendments to the KR rules.
[Ulsan Office] Technical seminar for site officers for 180K LNGC newbuilding
project
The KR Ulsan office held a technical seminar for site officers of SK Shipping Co., for SK’s newbuilding projects.
The topics of the seminar included the results of structural analysis for 180K LNGC, new IGC Code, drawing approval process of cargo handling system and pipeline and test procedure of cargo piping system pressure.
