This month, KR provided the seminars below for our clients around the world.
[Teheran Office] Technical seminar for Iranian shipping companies
The KR Teheran office held a technical seminar and workshop for the IRISL Group and NITC from 5-7 March in Teheran, Iran.
The seminar focused on the clients’ interest in newbuilding projects for bulk carriers, LNG carriers and LPG carriers. The hull form design, main engine systems, and energy-saving equipment for these types of vessels were discussed.
[Ulsan Office] Technical Seminar for project managers(PM) of Hyundai Heavy
Industries
KR held a technical seminar for the PM department at Hyundai Heavy Industries on 14 March.
The seminar included an introduction to KR’s recent activities and discussed changes to international conventions that were particularly relevant to the PM department of HHI.
[Geoje Office] Technical seminar for quality managers(QM) of DSME
In order to provide the latest up-to-date information on the global Sulphur cap, the KR Geoje office held a technical seminar for the QM team at DSME on 27 March.
In the seminar, KR and DSME discussed ways to react to the environmental regulatory issues especially SOx scrubbers, and emerging alternative technology to comply with the global Sulphur cap.
