Students from several maritime universities have visited KR. Forty five students from Korea Maritime and Ocean University and 60 students from Mokpo National Maritime University visited KR on 22 November 2017. Another 60 students from Mokpo National Maritime University visited KR on 30 November and joined the students’ program to increase their understanding of KR.
The student program includes lectures on the history and role of classification societies, an introductory video about KR, recruitment Q&A and discussions with recent graduates now working as staff at KR. It offers a good opportunity for students to understand KR’s work and to learn about the history and function of classification societies.
Particularly important is the discussion with KR staff which gives them valuable information, answering any questions and hopefully inspiring their dreams for the future.
KR is keen to convey the message that the organization will always support its employee’s dreams and offers a significant step forward for the future.
