According to the MARPOL Annex VI Regulation 22, for ships engaged in international voyages, which are 400 GT and above, from 1 January 2013, the SEEMP (Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan) must be carried onboard the vessel. A sample of the SEEMP has been available on the KR Homepage since 2012.

In addition, according to MARPOL Annex VI Regulation 22 as amended MEPC.282(70), for ships are 5,000 GT and above, the SEEMP Part II (Ship Fuel Oil Consumption Data Collection System) must be approved and carried onboard the vessel before 31 December 2018.

For our clients' convenience, KR has uploaded the sample of the SEEMP Part II to help ship owners manage the process of collecting, aggregating, and reporting the ship data with regard to the annual fuel oil consumption as required by Regulation 22A.1 of MARPOL Annex VI.

This sample developed based on Resolution MEPC.282 (70) may be changed, if the amendment is made in accordance with the results of IMO discussions. Your valuable feedback on the sample document would be highly appreciated.
