[Busan Office] KR holds client briefing for QA dept. of shipyards
KR’s Busan office hosted a client meeting for the Quality Assurance staff of Daesun Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Ltd.
The meeting included an introduction and discussion around Korean national law, specifically regarding passenger ships and the qualification of welders, a subject area which is to be changed next year. There will be a focus on car ferry ships which are scheduled to be built from the end of 2017.
KR also provided the client with informative details regarding survey solutions for any problems.

[Ulsan Office] KR holds a technical seminar for passenger ships
KR’s Ulsan office hosted a technical seminar for the passenger ship Wei Dong
Ferry, which is being built in Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD). Both the shipowning company and the shipyard were in attendance.
The seminar covered the basic concept of Safe Return to Port (SRtP), and discussed
the piping system of the Weidong Ferry in terms of SRtP, with an informative Q&A
session.
KR promised its clients prompt and accurate technical support and they expressed
their trust and satisfaction in KR’s technical service and willing cooperation with the
surveyors in charge.
