On 17 August 2017, KR held the “KR Maritime Cyber Security Seminar” for shipping companies – supporting Tanker Management and Self Assessment (TMSA) and RIGHTSHIP.
KR provided a variety of services and details around shippers’ inspections of shipping companies, introducing “KR’s guidelines for Maritime Cyber Security” and “Security Procedure for TMSA & RIGHTSHIP”, as well as providing a briefing for participants on “Cyber Security Risk Assessment” and a “KR Cyber Security Plan”.
Many stakeholders from the shipping and security industries were in attendance, and the major issues of the day were enthusiastically discussed.
KR will continue to hold relevant seminars for shipping companies; doing its best to offer quality services, and to establish platforms for high-quality cyber security information where classification is involved.
