1.  Please be informed that the partial amendments have been made to the “Rules for the Classification of Steel Ships and Guidance Relating to the Rules for the Classification of Steel Ships, Pt.1, as below and you are kindly requested to apply the amendments on the relevant works. 
  
 2.  Furthermore, please be informed that the amendments will be included in 2018’s edition of KR Technical Rules which will be published in the first half of 2018.

1) To reflect the revision of the Instruction for the Classification Survey, in the process of “Classification Survey of ships classed by other Societies” (TOC) for Passenger Ships and Fishing vessels, the procedure pertaining to “TOC” shall be applied. But survey items are to be in accordance with Classification Survey after Construction.

2) To reflect an item recommended by Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries during audit.
