KR Ho Chi Minh Office hosts BWM Convention Technical Seminar
KR’s Ho Chi Minh office recently held a technical seminar on the BWM (Ballast Water
Management) Convention for clients in Haiphong. With the subject of ‘BWMS Convention and De-Coupling of IOPP survey’, it endeavored to provide clients with up-to-date information and details regarding the subject.
Attendees of the seminar appreciated KR’s proactive approach and have requested continuous updates. Therefore, KR Ho Chi Minh office has promised to work closely with its clients and to deliver more tailor-made services.

KR Tokyo Office - Technical Seminar & Oil Major Inspection
[Hakata Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.]
KR’s Tokyo office recently carried out a preliminary inspection for Oil Major Inspection as a part of its technical services delivered to Hana Marine, an owner of an oil/chemical tanker being built in Hakata Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
The seminar was held for the newbuilding supervisor and crew members on the ship
project, providing preparatory details for the owner as well as essential knowledge for
crew members, ahead of their Oil Major Inspection, and a safety check of the ship’s facilities.
The shipowner who accompanied the Oil Major Inspection expressed gratitude to the KR Tokyo office for providing them with hands-on information, and requested continued technical services in the future.

[Santoku Senpaku]
KR’s Tokyo office visited Santoku Senpaku, hosting a technical seminar on EU-MRV for staff in charge of technical and maritime management, including the head of its
technical department.
KR provided the attendees with details of KR as an authorized body for EU-MRV, outlined the items to prepare for the inspection for the owner, and discussed various
case studies according to operation routes. The client expressed their satisfaction with KR’s differentiated services, as well as an appreciation of KR’s bespoke offerings.

KR Changwon Office - Client Meeting for Non Destructive service supplier
Recently, the KR Changwon office held a client meeting with staff and executives of a Non Destructive service supplier.
The meeting included an introduction to the general details of a Non Destructive Test
(NDT), an explanation of the report format following said test, as well as a Q&A session with advice and discussion.
On this occasion, KR promised to assist the client with prompt and accurate technical services and the clients expressed their expectations and trust in KR’s technical competence.
