KR has gained authorization fromthe Ministry of Manpower in Singapore to conduct surveys of boilers and pressure systems following a designated inspection by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in Japan. The surveys cover a range of topics from design review to completion of inspection on pressure systems for use in Singapore. This includes air receivers, steam receivers, refrigeration plant pressure receivers, steam boilers, economizers and superheaters which are all manufactured in Korea.

The Singapore government assessed survey performance records and relevant license holding when awarding the authorizations. KR succeeded in obtaining the authorization, as a result of its performance records from more than 1,000 surveys on boiler and pressure systems and because KR’s surveyor holds the international certificate API 510 (pressure vessel inspector certificate of American Petroleum Institute).

KR is working to establish a global one-stop certification service to facilitate manufacturers’ exports by securing authorization from more countries authorization bodies including ASME (USA), ADR & RID (EU), DOSH (Malaysia), NR-13 (Brazil) and more.
