A flag instruction in relation to the implementation of the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships’ Ballast Water and Sediment, 2004 was published for all Panamanian flagged ships.

In accordance with this instruction, ship owners and operators of Panamanian flagged ships should apply for approval of BWMP and for the issuance of an IBWM Certificate through the link provided by the Panama Administration as of March 15, 2017.

In this regard, we would like to provide a summary of the flag instructions as below, ship owners and operators of Panamanian flagged ships are kindly invited to take action so that the BWMP and IBWM Certificate be properly approved and issued by the Panama Administration in a timely manner.
