EDAS is an electronic drawing approval system used by KR. The customer's drawings received in PDF form are encrypted and stored in the server for internal / external security, and then the stored drawings are assigned to a specific person according to the contents of the drawing. To review the electronic drawings, a dedicated viewer capable of decrypting and approving the encrypted drawings is required. KR-EDAS Viewer is a PDF format-based program which has been developed to enable our surveyors to easily approve electronic drawings.

The surveyors download the assigned encrypted drawings and review the drawings once they have been authenticated by the EDAS viewer. The viewer has the following features:

■ Account connection: to maintain security, it is possible to review the drawing after login by

   connecting with the surveyor's KR account.

■ Automatic stamp creation: it merges the standard stamps registered on the server with the

   signature images registered in the surveyor's account to generate various stamps.

■ Searching standard comments: surveyors can search for standard comments by entering

   keywords to maintain the consistency of comments.

■ Comment summarization: by collecting comments distributed on several pages, the surveyor can

   check all the comments on one screen.

■ Measuring tools: the viewer provides a measurement tool that allows you to enter scales to

   measure the lengths and angles in drawings.

■ Auto uploading: once the review has been completed, the drawings are re-encrypted and uploaded

   to the server.
